How I feel about Aurora’s new dress

It’s the shoulders… I hate the shoulders. They should be sharper.

It’s not hard to add a bit of structure inside the fabric to complete it.

It’s like Cinderella without the poof and her two side things (forgot what they’re called) or Belle without her ruffles and ripples.

Megan Coffey as a Young Maleficent, featuring Manuela Jaramillo as Young Fairy

Maleficent has always been shunned by her fairy peers. Shunned because she was truly different on the inside. She’s sick and twisted, and it reflects on her face. At a young age, she discovered her powers, and it grew along the years. She began abusing other fairies.

Maleficent took the final step and burned down the entire fairy kingdom, her past, and moved on to the Maleficent we know now.

wherewewillnevergrowup:

I wore my Dark Mark tattoo when I went to Disney and Aurora commented on it.
I told her that Maleficent gave it to me and we are really good friends.
She then asked me if I invite her (Maleficent) to parties, and I told her no because “nobody likes her.”

This isn’t uploaded on my FB page (www.facebook.com/DuyTruongPhotography) yet, it’s just here for now. I just finished editing this!Megan if you see this, don’t use this version - it’s really really low-res.
The shoot was Megan’s idea. It was something Maleficent inspired, and I love Mally - so YES!My personal story as I did this is that Maleficent has always been a sick child (mentally - maybe physically). She’s an outcast, and bullied a lot. Also as a young child, she discovered her fairy magic is a lot more powerful than the norm. (Yeah she’s a fairy in case no one knows that). At this age, Maleficent began to display horns (which will be seen in the future, made by Megan). As she grows older, her horns also “grew.” (These horns are made by me). During which, she began to abuse other fairies to the point of near death with her powerful magic. Her connection to the fairy kingdom ended when everyone in the fairy world rejects her, and she burned the entire fairy kingdom to the ground out of built up hate. She replaced her wand with a staff, and the Maleficent we know is born.
Just something out of my head. This is the burning scene. I would have fairies in the background dying and running away, but that’s too much.

A forest of thorns shall be his tomb. Borne through the skies on a fog of doom. Now go with the curse, and serve me well. ’Round Stefan’s Castle, cast my spell!

Yes! I adore this cast! They need to emphasis on the fact that Maleficent is a fairy, and seeing that there is a fairy king makes me happy. Bastard son Stefan - don’t they mean King Stefan?Diaval - tell me he’s going to end up being Diablo? Cause if he is, they should keep it as Diablo. The two fairies set to take care of Aurora, don’t they mean 3? And don’t change their names! Unless they have aliases!

Luckily CafedeDuy, who provided us with such amazing live-action shots of some of our favorite Disney heroes a while back, is letting us in on a few extras from his shoots!

This is an outtake of the Sleeping Beauty image.I cropped out Aurora. You’re welcome.
Haha just kidding.

I love the style of the art peices. The shadowing, lighting, colors. They’re so beautiful and realistic.

I just have a problem with Maleficent’s chest area. She’s from the Middle Ages and is the Mistress of Evil. I don’t like the artist’s interpretation of that area. Other than that, I LOVE THEM.
