Where Your Heart’s Wishes Are Real by Duy Truong Photography on Flickr
I’d fall in love with a girl if I ever see her wearing this out of the blue.

Ariana Stephens as Princess Tiana
I’ve shot Ashley Reid previously as Tiana, but it was Tiana in her dream. This time, it’s Tiana as an official princess. The concept behind this image was the promotion of Tiana as the princess “from the bayou” and it’s the birth of a new character. So I told Ariana that the photo will express the idea of introducing a new princess. I don’t think that’s present in my photo, but it’s what inspired me - and the title. This photograph was shot from the naaaassty murky waters of Heritage Park. There were things in there I don’t know… “what? huh? what is this? AHH!” It was dirty, disgusting, and totally worth the shot. With the scenery inspired by the Lousiana bayous. I wish that I have walked farther (if I want to fall) and include some water in the shot. But I think you tell, especially with that faint water reflection on the right tree.Oh, and Ariana’s gown is gorgeous. Absolutely. Better than Tia’s in Disney World. It’s ahh, have to see it in person.Costume: Entirely handmade by ArianaMakeup: Kellie Smith
